Kogalashi Sound Magic Ganache Rich Distortion

Bitter and Ganache are distortion pedals that branched off from the same original prototype — true siblings with distinctly different voices.

By clearly separating their characters, each model allows players to intuitively craft sounds suited to their playing style through a simple, effective control layout.

The unique Texture control does not function as a typical high-cut tone control. Instead, it adjusts both the character of the distortion and the frequency range in a more complex, interactive way — delivering highly musical and practical usability.

Ganache

A rich-sounding distortion with an emphasis on the low-midrange.

Rather than exaggerating extreme lows or piercing highs, Ganache focuses on strengthening the midrange. This allows for deep, saturated gain without thinning out the tone, resulting in a thick, powerful distortion with strong presence.

It covers everything from tight, palm-muted riffs and full-bodied chord work to smooth, sustaining lead tones.

Controls (Shared by Bitter & Ganache)

Level
Adjusts the overall output volume. Since Dist. and Texture adjustments also affect perceived volume, use the Level control to compensate as needed.

Dist.
Controls the amount of gain.
Turning the knob past approximately 2 o’clock introduces a more saturated, compressed character.

Texture
Use 12 o’clock as the reference point.
Turning clockwise produces a more open and rough tonal character.
Turning counterclockwise results in a smoother texture.

Unlike conventional high-cut tone controls, Texture adjustments also affect overall volume.
Please use the Level control to compensate for any volume changes.
