Its five control layout offers considerably more tonal flexibility than a typical distortion pedal. Gain sets the amount of distortion, Bass and Treble shape the low and high frequencies, Volume controls the overall output, and the distinctive Contour control changes the character of the midrange response.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe pedal is housed in Marshall’s substantial steel enclosure with the original gold ShredMaster graphics and embossed Marshall logo. It can be powered by a standard 9 volt battery or a compatible center negative 9 volt DC power supply.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis example includes its original Marshall box. It shows normal cosmetic wear from age and use, including scratches, small marks, and considerable adhesive residue on the underside. The original underside identification label is no longer present.
